Resumen:
A lo largo de este texto he ido describiendo miembro tras miembro el cuerpo futuro, a través de un ineluctable recorrido por lo que se ha entendido durante siglos por un postcuerpo que transcenderá al nuestro de carne y hueso.
La representación de este cuerpo ha pasado por las manos del hombre como lugar donde investigar diferentes perspectivas y visiones, desde la creación de un ser a su imagen y semejanza –recurriendo para ello a la magia, el engaño, la alquimia, la ciencia o la técnica– hasta mejorar el propio cuerpo con la intención de que éste sea superior e invulnerable a la enfermedad y la muerte.
Las cuestiones que surgen de La representación del cuerpo futuro están relacionadas con el acto creativo y el aprendizaje sociocultural. De hecho, una de las principales vías se desarrolla desde la visión inherente a la condición humana, de cómo la humanidad ha ido avanzando gracias a ese deseo desmedido por indagar, especialmente, en los secretos del cuerpo humano.
Brief:
Throughout this text, I have described the future body part by part, by embarking on an inevitable journey through what, for centuries, has been known as a postbody, which will transcend our own flesh and blood.
The representation of this body has been used by man as a place of research of the various perspectives and visions, from the creation of a being according to his own image –resorting to the likes of magic, deception, alchemy, science or technical knowledge to achieve this– to the improvement of this own body, up to becoming superior and immune to illness and death.
The questions that arise from The Representation of the Future Body are related to the creative act and to socio-cultural learning. In fact, one of the principal routes develops from the point of view inherent to the human condition, i.e. the way humanity has advanced, thanks to that boundless desire to investigate, especially regarding secrets of the human body.
